brought those students to us. So while there's no way for us to anticipate every possible question, we will touch on a few of the ones

Is W Academy Nationally Accredited?
Absolutely. W Academy is accredited by The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts + Sciences (NACCAS). In addition to a great education, this means our tuition is eligible for government programs such as Pell Grants and other financial assistance programs for those who qualify.
What do the class schedules look like?
We have several different class schedules to suit a variety of circumstances - Day, evening, part-time and full-time. New student classes start on the first Tuesday of every month for students using a daytime schedule. New students starting an evening schedule start on the first Monday of each month. In other words, you don't need to wait for a Spring or Fall semester. We have new classes forming within the next month.
How much does the program cost?
The out-of-pocket cost for each student varies depending on their unique situation. Financial Aid is available in the way of Pell Grants, scholarships, subsidized and unsubsidized student loans and more for those who qualify.
What types of financial aid are available?
Our financial aid department will work with you one-on-one to help identify every possible financial aid benefit available to you. As mentioned above, that often includes Pell and other state & federal grants. Those will a military background would generally be eligible to use GI Bill or other VA benefits. There are both public and private scholarship opportunities. Once we've worked with you to exhaust all possible subsidies, we can work with you on both secured and unsecured student loans if necessary.
Will I have the same teacher during my entire program?
No. You will have the advantage of learning from several different teachers during your time with W Academy. This allows you the ability to receive different perspectives on the profession, learn from the different areas of expertise that our mentors bring with them and finally, it also broadens your networking potential within the industry.
How long is the W Academy program?
Our Cosmetology program is a 1600-hour platform. Our Esthetician Program is a 600-hour platform.
What is the average class size?
W Academy maintains a very small student:teacher ratio to give you the best opportunity to succeed and learn from the experts we've brought in to teach our programs.
What if I need additional tutoring
W Academy is able to offer tutoring as needed.
What is the average age of your students?
Wow! You'd be shocked how much it varies. We have a wide mix from recent high school grads to mature adults looking to secure a 2nd career and EVERYTHING in between.
Can I perform services on my friends and family while in school?
Absolutely! We highly encourage you to invite your friends and family.
